Pensacola, Florida
Hazard Data Summary
Threat Summary
Pensacola faces a critical environmental hazard score of 10.0. The American Creosote Works site is a major concern because it released dangerous chemicals into the ground and water. These hazardous substances can move through the soil and reach local groundwater. For daily life, this means you must be careful about touching soil in restricted areas or using well water that has not been tested. High levels of pollution near your home increase the risk of long-term health problems.
