Threat Summary
Blackwood faces a critical safety rating due to its proximity to the Deptford Plating Company Superfund site. Hazardous substances from this location and nearby GEMS Landfill pose serious risks to the local environment. For daily life, this means your soil and groundwater could be contaminated with chemicals used in industrial plating.
